How Tummers Group gained control over change
Tummers Group was looking for a flexible solution that fits their growth ambitions and sustainability goals. Wizard Cards turned out to be exactly what they needed.
Chemship operates worldwide with a modern fleet of stainless steel chemical tankers. The company specializes in the transport of liquid bulk chemicals and serves routes between the eastern Mediterranean, Northwest Europe and the United States. Safety, quality and reliability always come first.
Sustainability is playing an increasingly important role within Chemship. The company achieved a world first by becoming the first shipping company to equip a chemical tanker with wind-assisted propulsion. The MT Chemical Challenger sails with four VentoFoils and uses wind energy as additional propulsion. With this innovation, Chemship shows that innovation and sustainability are also possible in deep sea shipping.
This way of thinking does not stop at sea. The team also looked at how things could be done in a smarter and more sustainable way at the office. Even when it comes to something as small as business cards.
Like many other companies, Chemship had used paper business cards for years. They worked, but not without drawbacks. When job roles changed or contact details were updated, the cards quickly became outdated. As a result, new cards often had to be printed.
“Cards quickly became outdated when job roles changed, which regularly led to unnecessary waste.”

For an organization that values sustainability, this started to feel increasingly out of place. In terms of appearance as well, paper business cards no longer matched the direction Chemship wants to move in.
Chemship therefore started looking for a different way to network. The goal was clear: less waste, more flexibility and a solution that fits a modern organization.
“We wanted a more modern and sustainable way of networking, with contact details that can easily be updated without having to print new cards.” Esther explains.
Wizard Cards turned out to be a logical next step. Not because it is trendy, but because we were looking for something that simply works in practice, without creating extra hassle for colleagues.
When selecting a new way of networking, Chemship mainly looked for simplicity and clarity. Not a complicated system, but a professional solution that fits the organization and can be used right away.
“Wizard Card offered a user friendly and professional solution for us. The design is clean and representative and fits well with what we were looking for,” Esther explains.
Another important factor was that the solution remained clear and manageable. Chemship wanted digital business cards that are easy to use and maintain, without adding unnecessary complexity.
The transition was set up in a practical way and required little effort from Chemship itself. Wizard Card handled a large part of the process. This included helping with the design of the NFC cards, setting up the digital profile, and making sure the contact details were correctly uploaded from the start.
“We experienced the collaboration as very pleasant and professional. Wizard Card responds quickly, thinks along with us and is always ready to help when needed,” says Esther.
Thanks to this guidance and the short lines of communication, everything was set up quickly and Chemship could get started right away, without much internal coordination or extra work.
Since switching to Wizard Cards in 2023, Chemship mainly experiences convenience. Contact details can be updated quickly and easily, without waste. At the same time, the Wizard Cards provide a modern and consistent appearance that fits the company’s innovative direction.
“It gives us more flexibility and convenience, and it aligns better with our sustainability ambitions,” Esther explains.
She summarizes it well:
“Just as we invest in sustainable shipping, we also invest in a modern and efficient way of connecting. Wizard Card fits perfectly with that.”

More and more organisations are making the switch to digital business cards. But how are these cards used in practice? And what do they really deliver? To find out, we ask our customers to share their experiences.
